Registration for Dalton Public Schools Summer School 2026 is now open!
Summer School will be held at the Cyber Academy at The Annex and provides students with opportunities to earn credits, recover credits, and stay on track for graduation.

Dalton Public Schools is proud to announce that the Dalton High School Boys Soccer Team will compete in the GHSA State Championship match against Midtown High School on Friday, May 15, at 7:30 p.m.
In celebration of this achievement and to allow students, staff, and families the opportunity to support the Catamounts, Dalton High School students will have an early release day on Friday, May 15. Students will be dismissed at 12:00 p.m.
All other Dalton Public Schools will operate on their regular schedules.
The state championship match will be held at Duluth High School, located at 3737 Brock Road, Duluth, GA 30096.
Spirit buses will be available for Dalton High School students and faculty attending the game. Buses are expected to arrive at DHS at approximately 2:30 p.m., with boarding beginning at 2:55 p.m. Buses will depart promptly at 3:00 p.m. The anticipated return time to Dalton High School is approximately 11:45 p.m.
Students planning to ride a spirit bus must have both a completed permission form and a game ticket. Permission forms are available through the Dalton High School front office. Game tickets may be purchased through GoFan at https://gofan.co/app/school/GHSA.

Classics Gateway award for summer study at Emory’s Pre-College summer program in the
summer of 2026. The award covers the full cost of tuition, room and board for attendance and
the course, ‘Archaeological Investigation: Pompeii and Herculaneum’. The experience of the pre-college program will also include lots of wonderful opportunities and experiences on Emory’s campus and in the greater Atlanta area. Way to go Hla!
