Dalton, GA — Dalton Public Schools is proud to announce the launch of its 2026 Summer Nutrition Program, an initiative designed to ensure that all children in the community have access to nutritious meals throughout the summer vacation period.

The program will operate from June 1 through July 17, 2026, and is open to all children 18 years of age and younger. Participation is completely free, with no registration or fees required. However, in compliance with program guidelines, all meals must be consumed on-site. The program will be closed on July 3 in observance of Independence Day.

“We are committed to supporting our families and ensuring that no child goes hungry when school is out,” said Dr. Steven Craft, Superintendent of Dalton Public Schools. “Our Summer Nutrition Program is one way we continue to serve and invest in the well-being of our students during the summer months.”

The program will be hosted at multiple sites across Dalton, offering families convenient access to healthy meals.
